Cancellation & Refund Policy

We know plans change. Here’s exactly how cancellations, changes, and refunds work when you book with us.

Last Updated: 1 Aug, 2026

At Fly Ticket Now, we know that travel plans don't always go as expected. This policy explains how cancellations, flight changes, and refunds are handled when you book through us. We always aim to make this process as clear and fair as possible.

1. The Airline's Rules Come First

Every flight booked through Fly Ticket Now is subject to the specific airline's fare rules and policies. The airline ultimately decides if a ticket can be cancelled or changed, and what fees apply. When you book with us, you agree to these airline rules along with our own service policies.

2. How Airline Rules Work
  • Some tickets (like Basic Economy) are completely non-refundable once booked.
  • If a refund is allowed, the amount you get back depends on the airline's specific fare rules.
  • Airlines usually charge a change or cancellation fee, which will be taken out of your refund.
  • If an airline cancels your flight or makes a major schedule change, you might be eligible for a full refund or a free rebooking, depending on their policy.

We highly recommend reading the fare rules shown at checkout before you finish booking.

3. How to Cancel or Change Your Flight

If you need to cancel or make a change, please reach out to our support team right away.

To help us find your booking quickly, please provide:

  • The passenger's full name as it appears on the ticket
  • Your 6-letter booking reference (PNR) or ticket number
  • The email address you used to make the booking
  • A brief reason for the cancellation (optional, but helpful)
4. How Refunds Are Processed
  • We can only issue a refund after the airline approves it.
  • Once the airline approves the refund, it usually takes 7–14 business days for the money to show back up on your card. Sometimes it takes longer depending on the airline and your bank.
  • Refunds are always sent back to the same credit card or payment method you used to book.
  • Our booking service fees are non-refundable once a ticket is issued, unless the airline cancels the flight and gives you a full refund.
5. Don't Just Not Show Up (No-Shows)

If you don't show up for your flight and didn't cancel it beforehand (known as a "no-show"), you generally lose the entire value of the ticket. Whether you can get any money back after a no-show is entirely up to the airline's specific fare rules.

6. Partial Trip Cancellations

If you cancel your trip after you've already flown part of it (like skipping your return flight), any potential refund is calculated solely by the airline based on the unused portion of the ticket. This is strictly subject to their fare rules, and the airline rarely refunds the unused portion on discounted tickets.

7. Changing Your Flight
  • You must request a change before the original flight departs.
  • You will be responsible for the airline's change fee, plus any difference in fare if your new flight is more expensive.
  • Changes depend on seat availability and must be approved by the airline.
8. If the Airline Cancels Your Flight

If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, we will step in and help you get the best possible refund or rebooking option available under their policy. However, we don't control how quickly the airline processes refunds or what alternative flights they offer.

9. Our Service Fees

Some changes or cancellations require a service fee from us to cover the work of updating or refunding your booking. These fees are always shown to you before you finish booking, and they are non-refundable once the ticket is issued.
